J-K: Poonch disaster leaves 6 wounded and 1 dead BSF soldiers

A Border Security Force (BSF) vehicle they were riding in was involved in a collision on Sunday in the Mankote sector of the Poonch district, leaving one BSF jawan dead and six others injured.
Constable Ram Chandran has been named as the dead. Feroz Ahmed, Sanjay Sarkar, Karamjeet Singh, Ajay Singh, Devender Singh, and Emdadul Haque (driver) are the other wounded employees, all constables.
According to official reports, “The BSF Vehicles went off the road and plummeted into a chasm that was 250 feet deep, injuring seven troops. After the wounded men were taken to the hospital, Constable Ram Chandran of the 158th BSF unit passed away from his wounds. The head injuries Chandran had sustained was severe.
Police have reportedly opened a case and begun additional investigation, according to authorities.
