<p>Siddaramaiah, the chief minister of Karnataka, has said that this year’s Dasara festivities in Mysuru would be held in opulence. He emphasized how crucial it was to save costs wherever possible over the 10-day event. It’s important to note that Siddaramaiah is from Mysuru. On August 29, the CM went to the Sri Chamundeshwari shrine. Along with the deputy chief minister, he gave the goddess a silk saree and a Phala Tambula. Hamsalekha will conduct this year’s Dussehra inauguration, according to a statement made by Siddaramaiah at this occasion. The legendary musician Hamsalekha is known for both his passionate support of Kannada language and culture and for his melodic contributions to the Kannada cinema industry. Hamsalekha, known as the Nada Brahma of Sandalwood, is a well-known music director and lyricist. <p>The group in charge of the Dasara celebrations will examine the costs related to event planning. The state government would then decide the budget allotted for the Dasara celebration under the CM’s guidance. Notably, the CM also said that the festivities’ official start would take place on Chamundi Hill in Mysuru on October 15 between 10:15 and 10:30 am.</p>
<p>Recently, Siddaramaiah presided over a significant gathering in Bengaluru to talk about planning the Dasara festivities. He emphasized the need to increase the number of visitors to the event. He also said that the celebrations will include a variety of highlights, such as cultural performances, yuva dasara, farmers’ dasara, and city lighting. Vijayadashami Day is set aside for the flag parade. The festival will also include traditional events including Panjina Kawayat, lamp-lighting, and bamboo rafting.</p>
