Ex-Pak Minister Fawad Chaudhry's courtroom dash becomes viral in "Aglee Dafa Marathon Mai"

A video of the former Pakistani minister Fawad Chaudhry sprinting inside a high court building to avoid being arrested again went popular online on Tuesday.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader can be seen gathering his breath in the viral video after a quick sprint from the police who are trying to arrest him.
In the midst of violent demonstrations following Imran Khan's detention last week, Chaudhry, a crucial assistant to the former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan, had been held under the Maintenance of Public Order regulation.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has received a plea for acquittal from the PTI leader.
After Fawad signed an agreement promising not to participate in or instigate any violent protests, a Pakistani judge hearing his case released him. Triumphant Chaudhry left without waiting for the court to issue a formal ruling.
The former minister, who was wearing a traditional salwar-kameez, made a daring escape when he got into his white SUV to go home as he detected approaching police officers.
Chaudhry can be seen hurriedly getting out of the car and running to the door of the courthouse in the viral video. He seemed to be panting and out of breath, but a kind attorney assisted him.
Someone asked for water for him in the background, while someone else said he was about to pass out.
Later, Chaudhry told the judge that police had attempted to arrest him in violation of the court's release on bail.
In response, the judge gave the customary cold comfort. Given that you are a practicing (legal), you should have waited for the written order, the court stated.
The minister finally had a significant sense of relief when, late that evening, the same court prohibited officials from detaining Chaudhry under any circumstance.
Notably, the PTI leader denounced the damage at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi and the home of the corps commander in Lahore within a short period of time.
Speaking to the reporters in front of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), he stated, “The events were shameful,” according to the Dawn daily.
He continued by saying that the situation should be investigated and that anybody discovered to have been involved should face severe punishment, regardless of whether they were PTI members or not.
Another video that was shared on Twitter shows a journalist informing Fawad that his sprint went popular online.
The PTI leader grinned in answer, and his wife Hiba playfully said, “aglee dafa marathon mai,” suggesting he should think about running a marathon the next time.”
