"Ab Dilli Dur Nahin" star Mahesh Bhatt says independent movies have a more genuine feel

The director Mahesh Bhatt spoke about why he wanted to be a part of the movie “Ab Dilli Dur Nahin,” which is about a rickshaw puller's kid who becomes an IAS officer.
Bhatt contributed to the making of this movie as well.
“A movie that shows the struggles of a regular person can be powerful and relatable,” he remarked. The heartfelt drama “Ab Delhi Dur Nahin” by Imran Zahid and Vinay Bhardwaj is a welcome change from lavish extravagance.
Smaller, independent films often have a personal, genuine vibe, which has a significant influence on viewers.
Imran Zahid, who has been in multiple plays based on the director Mahesh Bhatt's movies, including “Arth,” “Daddy,” and “Hamari Adhuri Kahani,” is regarded by Bhatt as one of his protégés.
He is the one who introduced me to this field, according to Imran Zahid. He is kind of a mentor to me, and he is entirely responsible for where I am now. On this journey, he has been my source of light and has always protected me. Together, we performed in several theater productions.
We also staged several of his movies as plays and presented them. He has always been there for me, like a father figure guiding me through life.
The film was directed by Kamal Chandra, and it follows the journey of a young man from a rural village who wants to join the IAS. The movie was released on May 12 and was produced by Vinay Bhardwaj, Syed Z, and Sanjay Mawar under the Shining Sun Studios label.
