How Saif Ali Khan Fared In Go Goa Gone's Experimentation

Saif Ali Khan is prepared to take on the role of an adversary in his next film, Adipurush. The official trailer for the Prabhas-starring movie gave us a peek of Saif's evil Lankesh persona. We just have to wait a month to see the visual splendor in movie theaters. Even though Saif, 52, is portraying a nasty character in Adipurush, he has experience acting in unconventional characters. Saif already impressed us with his acting abilities in the 2013 comedy-horror Go Goa Gone. Here is how the movie developed.
Saif seems to be attracted to unconventional movies. The B-town star definitely knows how to bring it, whether he's playing a cheerful character in Hum Tum or a sinister one in Omkara. Saif garnered admirers with Go Goa Gone, the first zombie movie in Bollywood, thanks to his humorous and irritable on-screen persona Boris, a zombie hunter who just so happened to save a bunch of pals.
Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the directors of the film, said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama that when they sought stars to take on roles in the film, the actors refused the offer after reading the strange screenplay. Nobody wants to play a zombie in a first-time zombie movie. Saif then stepped in to save the day. Saif's truthful response when the producers offered him the part of Boris in the movie was that it was definitely a “stupid” concept, but he was willing to take the chance.
It is clear that Go Goa Gone, which cost Rs 19 crores to produce, was a box office success. The new Hollywood-inspired zombie picture was a big hit with the crowd. Saif's portrayal was also well received, and the public was captivated by his blonde hair throughout the movie. Later, Saif said in an interview with Pinkvilla that, in order to stay under budget, he did not even charge for Go Goa Gone.
Speaking about Adipurush, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon play the key parts in the movie. The mythical drama, directed by Om Raut and produced by AA Films, is scheduled to premiere on June 16 in theaters.
